What happens when a iMac G4 fan gets his hands on Max 9 and Photoshop CS2? He lets his imagination run riot to create a very neat looking PC called the GSX, that many iMac fans too wouldn’t mind giving a hand or a leg for. So what goes into this design concept to make it oh-so-sexy? For starters, you have a 19 inch HDMI based LCD monitor which pivots from a rod attached to a the CPU. Talking about the CPU, designer Sourav has used plenty of laptop components to make the GSX a compact, high performance piece of computing kit. Processing will be handled by an Intel Core2Duo T7600. The RAM is a 4 gig item with storage being handled by a 160GB hard disk.
To minimize the load on the processor and to deliver visually stunning graphics, you have a 256MB 8600GS graphics card from Nvidia. All this is put together is a neat little rectangular case that looks like a million bucks. This case will contain a 400 watt power supply and other bells and whistles like USB ports, Power button etc. The best part of this design is that the monitor is completely detachable from the CPU, thus making this entire package very portable. If you are wondering where the keyboard and mouse combo is, Sourav plans to have a wireless keboard and mouse to eliminate the use of any kind of ungainly wiring. That is what we call killer aesthetics.
