All you fast-fingered DJs out there might want to slow down a little and take at look at this turntable which could soon become the rage across the DJing universe. We’re talking about the Touch Screen Table that Scott Hubbs has managed to conjure up. Scott, a student from Dundee University has put together the ATTIGO TT that will let you loop, sample and scratch at will, the difference being that you need to give the good ol’ vinyls the boot and embrace the touchscreen. Though it sounds pretty good, I’m not too sure whether current touchscreen technology is developed enough to let ultra-fast fingered DJs do their scratching, no pun intended. Also, a tactile touchscreen is very necessary as DJs usually like to feel the grooves of their vinyls even as they mix it up. If Scott can manage to engineer these very important features into this working prototype, he might just have turntable manufacturers eating out of his hands.
