Gigantic Tmsuk T-52 Enryu is a savior in emergencies
Harshpaul | Mar 12 2009

Japan’s huge robot Tmsuk T-52 Enryu weighs nearly six tons and is powerful enough to lift 1100 pounds with each hand. A robot so heavy may sound a little impractical, but this one is worth every ounce of its weight. The bot is designed to aid in rescue operations in case of accidents and earthquakes, so its ability to lift huge amounts of weight comes in handy. For that very reason, it can be operated remotely or by a pilot on board. No wonder the name translates to “rescue dragon.”
