Who says the red mailboxes have gone down the rubble? This one is functional under water, can you believe it. The mailbox is one of its kinds in the global mailing system and take my word, as Edo says, is not a sunken relic. It is located underwater off the coast of Susami, Wakayama, Japan and is officially recognized by the postal system, which collects around 200 posts everyday.
Perhaps, Susami that sounds like Tsunami, is adapting itself by devising innovative ways to face the tough times during hurricanes. Is it waterproof? Does anybody know?
