At the last week’s Fujitsu North American Technology Forum 2007, the company showcased color e-paper concept. Though it’s not production ready, the 8-inch, 640 x 480 color display is about 0.03-inches thick while a 12-inch edition in the works and they hope to get to 2.5-meters. Amazingly, the e-paper can be powered easily with radio waves from a cellphone. We might see the meeting rooms of the future filled with Fujitsu’s e-paper instead of boards.
