Fujitsu and Macnica build Android-based photo frame
Atul | May 15 2009

Clicking photographs with modern cameras and then transferring those images over to your desk isn’t a major problem, for there is apt technology to support the process. You can even toy with those photographs with the laden software. Fujitsu Software technologies and Macnica have challenged the “conventions” by thinking outside the box with the development of an Android-based digital photo frame. They call it the “Software Platform for Home Network Digital Photo Frame” that can be used to add visual effects to images/oil paintings which can then be relayed on a slide show on a home network using DLNA. This development highlights the success of embedding Android as a regular platform supported in this case with an ARM-based Marvell PXA 310.
