Flatlift is a company from Frankfurt that specializes in developing systems for plasma lifting, TV tilting and TV pivoting. To integrate LCD and plasma displays into your living rooms, Flatlift has all the experts needed. Company’s prowess was put on display recently for the Kremlin. In Moscow, Flatlift’s experts installed a special in-house TV lift system for what is currently the world’s largest plasma display. Russian government decided to install 220 kilograms Panasonic TH-103PF9EK (103 inches, c. 261 cm) in a chamber in Moscow. Flatlift was asked to design a lifting system for the same. The experts took about four weeks to design a remote controlled lift for the plasma. They designed a system that’s completely cased in and is easy on the eye. The lift hoisted the system to a position that makes it possible for everyone to have a good view; even the delegates sitting in the back row. The lift has a capability of handling around 600 kilograms, and Mr. Sascha Rissel, Managing Director of Flatlift GmbH believes that the experience would help the company in future projects too. Check out some pics of the exercise in the gallery.
