In my elongated career here I have seen numerous types of surveillance robots, of all kinds I thought, but this is the best I have ever seen. The EyeDrive, as they call the compact surveillance robot, is a remote-controlled, all terrain, lightweight and rugged mini robot that provides real-time 360° audio and video surveillance.
Built with cameras on all four sides, and a fifth on the front to zoom vertically, the EveDrive captures and sends back streaming 360° audio and video scenes of its surroundings. Owing to its rugged make the EveDrive robot is splash proof and is good in flip-flop operation – that is in condition where the robot has to twist and tumble to reach the intended area. Because the surveillance and rescue acts are not only for the bright light, the robot features 360° illumination to carry out it chores in dark tunnels and bunkers.
The carry and deploy the robot, comes with a specially designed operation vest which can be used to carry a robot and its control unit. The EyeDrive measures as little as 2.7 kg but is strong enough to carry up to 3 kg of deployable sensors and explosives. The easy-to-use robot can be thrown into any condition and situation and the panorama can be seen delivered back by it, in case the bad guy fiddles with it – guys it has the explosives loaded to shot the bloody bugger.
