Eye-Fi has been a name to reckon with since they introduced wireless SD memory cards to the world, and with this new Eye-Fi Pro that supports peer-to-peer connectivity to help the user directly upload images from the camera to the computer, we see a new dimension unfolding with the company.
The easiest way perhaps to see the file types like JPEG, RAW images and videos to be wirelessly uploaded to the PC. Accompanied also is an ad hoc connection that lets the user transfer files to other mobile device wirelessly even when away from a wireless router or without an internet connection.
The Eye-Fi Pro will also facilitate by automatically uploading images and videos directly to over 25 online photo and video sharing sites, thus leaving the user with the least fatigue to get those images to his favorite photo sharing site, that can take a year to upload an image if the internet isn’t supporting your cause.
Eye-Fi has also announced the Selective transfer feature for the Eye-Fi card users to facilitate them with wireless transfer of images from camera to a PC or the web. The Eye-Fi Pro is up for grabs at Amazon and www.eye.fi for an MSRP of $149.
