Different types of prototypes and actual healthcare devices have been made; both to track and medicate us. These systems are so high tech in form that they give us a glimpse of the future. Now, for the first time, Ergonomidesign, a company that has 40 years of experience in Life Science industry has come forward to demonstrate to us the future of integrated health care. Because their experience gives them the liberty to envision the future, I believe their designed integrated healthcare service ecosystem will lead to a greater awareness and health control.

Ergonomidesign has devised an application Helping Hands - a ‘Natural User Interface developed on a Microsoft Surface table’ to show that people in the near future will use healthcare services to connect with each other apart from the fact that these services will be used for disease prevention and control. A video demonstration is available after the jump.

Using these smart medical applications with software and hardware, people will have constant access to healthcare providers, doctors and the family members. Here the biometric data collected will be monitored in real time and with similar pace be shared out with the concerned persons using what the cloud computing system. The smart surfaces will enable people with similar illnesses to compare and discuss their cases with each other.
