English railroad pocket watch doubles up as 3mm gun
Jaiyant Cavale | Jul 17 2008

Death is tick-tocking its way towards us with the English patent curiosa railroad pocket watch gun. This key-wind silver antique pocket watch with hunting case is fitted with a .3mm gun, breechblock and mechanism. The normal watch workings have been removed to make place for the gun, which is controlled by a push-button trigger. The face of the watch is raised with crystal glass and has dummy hands and the reverse is engraved with a vacant monogram shield. The lid has ‘James Haworthy’ inscribed on the inside. A chain ring on the top completes the image of an antique watch. But the size of the gun probably decreases the precision and range of this rare railroad pocket watch gun.
