When I was a young lad, being a gaming fanatic I used to fancy that somehow I could get the control over those characters through my senses, as it was not easy for me to manage various keys of the controller. Sadly, but I always used to fall well short of the climax of the game due to the complex controls. If you are also a gaming enthusiast and complex keys of your controller affect your performance, a neuro-headset that interprets the interaction of neurons in the brain will be available by end of the year. Not only will the revolutionary headset allow the user to operate a game or virtual environment logically and instinctively by picking up electrical activity from the brain and sending wireless signals to a computer, it will also bestow gamers with the power to move objects by thinking of the action, improving the realism of emotional responses of AI characters in games.
Moreover, the intelligent headset features gyroscope to detect movement and connects with a USB dongle plugged into a PC wirelessly (unlike it was in the past). To interpret the neural activity, Emotiv’s headset essentially works on the non-invasive electroencephalography (EEG) technology. You don’t believe, but it will bear the price tag of $299 only. The innovative headset would certainly not just prove a boon for gamers but all other digital gadget savvies as well. Had it arrived a bit earlier, I would have surely reached the climax of my game successfully.

Someday I’d like to see this technology filtering down to the typing I do. That would greatly ease the workload on my fingers;). Neway, the Emotiv headest is one nice concept whose technology looks like one which will be adopted by many other devices.
Ya gr8 Jay we could have a lot of work load cut down for all we would be then required to do is to think. We just talk of it but the coming generations would have this pleasure in practicality with the technology getting better and better.
