LCDs are steadily fading away in the shadow of the plasmas and the AMOLED displays, but still some loyalists are trying their level best to keep the LCDs knocking at your door, some way or the other. Elivision has taken that even more literally, and has fixed a 17-inch LCD display into a door that could reach your home soon. Developed using a Linux-based DID board, the display is accompanied by a speaker, no real word on the pricing or specs however, we learn the display support a range of media files fed through USB port.
