Durabook D15RP notebook is all rugged and secure
Bharat | Dec 16 2008

There’s no denying that notebooks undergo a great deal in a hard day’s work, not just internally but externally too. There are laptops that can bear the internal brutality, while the rugged notebooks are up for the tough external treatment. GammaTech Computer Corporation has had the Durabook made fit for both meted out cruelties, and their latest reveal, the Durabook D15RP, is an all-condition semi-rugged laptop to meet both business and government needs.

The 15.4-inch Durabook D15RP, powered by a Intel Centrino Duo Mobile processor, takes a leaf from its predecessors for its shock spill and drop resistance. However, with the TPM and hard drive encryption it adds to the Durabook spree the much required security. Along with the hardcore rugged features, including a keyboard spill tray and shock-mounted hard drive, the D15RP laptop also includes a 9-cell lithium ion battery. Selling at a price of $1,950, the Durabook D15RP also suppors WLAN, WWAN, GPS and Bluetooth and has a webcam integrated.
