Dubai gets world's first robotic car park

So, at last, it’s good to see that some of these geeks are prudent enough to make robots that can actually help us, in stead of just fighting on land or preparing to fight in space in the near future. The hi-tech robotic car park established in Inter Continental Hotel, Deira, Dubai, is the first of its kind and aims at squeezing more and more cars and melt down congestion.

The car park is fully automatic and can easily accommodate 16 cars in just 7.5 square meters of pillar-like parking space. Controlled by an artificial intelligence system, the ‘parking robot’ just need a missed call from your mobile and 15 seconds to park your car or retrieve it back.
