Dreamfit for bikers who cannot ride anymore
Farheen Jamal | May 16 2008

It was bad news for all the riders when the doctor told them they could not ride a bike again. Darren Lomman discovered this pathos and set to work on a new prototype for bikes that can be driven by bikers suffering from permanent injuries like paraplegia. Darren worked towards modifying Honda CBR250RR into a fully operational bike which he named Dreamfit bike. Dreamfit is for bikers paralyzed chest down, the operations of the bike are thumb operated rams that allow gear shifting. The bike has custom-moulded ergonomic cups which allow the rider to stay in place without allowing any pressure on the lower body. The most striking feature of the bike is the landing gear that provides stability to the rider. Consider the bike a blessing for all bikers who lost hope of riding a bike again.
