If you live alone, you can never be quite sure if you sleepwalk or not. And then you wake up in a shrub at 5AM, all wet and shivering, and wonder what the hell happened. But those days could be a thing of the past if you are ready for a bit of surveillance at nighttime. Dream Recorder is a neat program that monitors the body when one is asleep. Working with a Mac and iSight, or even a normal camcorder, Dream Recorder uses night vision to record everything that happens when the lights go out. Dream Recorder maintains detailed stats of your daily nighttime activities (pun unintended).
With night vision and infrared enabled, Dream Recorder can be set to wake you up, just after a dream, so that you can record what you saw; quite useful since we all tend to forget the vision that we had the previous night. Another feature that could come in handy is snoring detection, which will sound whistles when you start to snore. Also included are features like iTunes integration, voice controlled alarm snooze, and soothing sounds for perfect sleep. The Dream Recorder system is selling here for 30€.
