DivX is here to completely change the way we drive with its DivX Head Up Display, a in-car multimedia environment.
The head up display technology is developed in collaboration with Russian Krytek Systems for fighter aircrafts, eliminating dull flights. The DivX technology can easily be incorporated into automobiles and will allow drivers to watch full length movies or Video Podcast while driving. Drivers can still have the full view of the front as the HUD projection appears transparent in daylight conditions.
The technology will be able to display full resolution HD video along with 5.1 surround audio. So, the end of in-car DVD player is near.
