DisplayLink's DL-120 and DL-160 ICs allow you to have cordless monitors

With every electronic device going wireless now it’s time to turn you PC and other computing devices into wireless machines. DisplayLink’s DL-120 and DL-160 ICs is the key component to do so that allows the monitor manufacturers, PC OEMs and PC accessory companies to develop products for multi-monitor computing including USB-connected monitors, video-enabled USB laptop docks.

These chips boasts to be worlds fist chips that offer VGA over a USB 2.0 connection with zero quality loss. The chips are touted to have a resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 and 1,600 x 1,200 respectively. The chips can also be used with digiframes to view new galleries over wireless USB. The availability and pricing of these chips has not been revealed.
