DigiWall: Computers get the strangest 'climbing wall' interface!
Siddhesh | Jun 9 2008

There seems to be absolutely no end to the type of human-computer interfaces that could be developed! The kids in the pic are climbing Digiwall - a computer game with climbing wall-like interface. Digiwall is an innovation by Interactive Institutes. Every climbing-hold of this techno-wall has been equipped with sensors that can record the hands and feet put upon them. This in turn can be used to generate the ‘terrain-path’ of each climber. Each climb-holder can also be used to generate music as the climber touches it to create a rhythymatic sound. These slots can also flash lights from inside. This is true techno-masterpiece that can be used for several competitions at parties and funfares and can promise hilarious entertainment for the kids and the onlookers!
