Denon launches iDenon ASD-1R iPod at a competitive price
Krish | Mar 4 2006

Denon has launched iDenon ASD-1R, an iPod docking system for Denon Hi-fi and Home Cinema Systems. Stuart Miles writes the move is probably triggered off by Apple’s move in the market. The company statement says Apple’s so called “hi-fi” iThing stuff is no more than a boom box. Instead Denon offers for a cool $250 street price one of its famed D-M33 mini hi-fi systems which can effortlessly play CD, FM radio etc. A real miniature hi-fi system (no publicity gimmick no boom box kind) along with a good pair of hi-fi speakers AND a smart iPod dock could also be yours at around £320.00.

For consumers like us it’s a win win scenario.
