CSI Stick: Data thief for cell phones
Gagandeep | Sep 2 2008

Its real name may be a mouthful (Cellular Seizure Investigation Stick), but it keeps things amazingly simple when it gets down to work. CSI Stick is something that has jeopardized data security on cell phones (especially Samsung and Motorola ones). It plugs into a handset’s data-port and steals data; contacts, messages, emails, logbooks and other stuff that you may have stored therein. CSI Stick works very swiftly and comes as a neat package; approximately the size of a lighter. Paraben Corporation is selling the device for an affordable $200. As mentioned already, CSI Stick only works with certain models from Motorola and Samsung, but Nokia, LG and others are in line next. Apparently, it is aimed primarily at law enforcement agencies but we know with whom the device will find more resonance; jealous spouses and overeager parents!
