Creative could launch PMP/Internet tablet with camera
Alpheus | Sep 12 2008

We love the good old rumor machine, since it churns out some really heart-warming news most of the time. The latest we hear is from Creative’s stables.

What’s the Rumor: An Internet tablet or a PMP, which might be launched as part of the Zen Vision range. The rumored device could have Wi-Fi, GPS, a rear camera and a touchscreen.

Watch This: If the rumors have even an iota of credibility, we at Gizmowatch believe other internet tablets in the market could face some stiff competition. It could be the most comprehensive PMP, if it reaches the production floor.

Word around the Web:

Grahm Skee from Anythingbutipod says:

With all the features mentioned above plus what looks to be a camera and maybe a place for a stylus- you could probably call this an Internet tablet.

Mark Wilson for Gizmodo says:

This newly discovered patent by Creative, whether actually in production or not, looks like a pretty neat device.

Manufacturer’s voice: Since the images have been whacked from a patent filed by Creative in January, we are pretty sure the manufacturer has true release intentions. However, the company is yet to respond to these rumors.
