Commstat CEO-24: Talking Thermostat for Hassle-free Operation over Telephone
Rajat | Dec 1 2007

The Commstat family of telephony services has come up with another perfect energy management tool to cut down to your cooling and heating costs. The Commstat-CEO 24 was launched by talkingthermostats.com which connects to your telephone line allowing a complete control and monitoring options of the Commstat.

The thermostat talks to the owner and asks for a digitized-password and then prompts you about the actual temperature and the system status of the heating and cooling temperatures! And, it thus, assist you in raising or lowering the temperature and other parameters accordingly. The thermostat can be used in offices, homes, cabins or at any place to cut down to your heating and cooling options.

There is an in-built telephone dialer that can call up to three telephone numbers, if the heating and cooling system fails and alarms the owner that the system has failed. Specially contrived for vacation houses CEO 24 can be adjusted by itself over telephone and the vacation house is ready before the homeowner makes an entry. But, one thing to keep in mind is that it is compatible with the heat pump systems. Keeping in mind the minutest detail, CEO-24 has been programmed nicely so that it gives a hassle-free operation to the user and can be easily adjusted over a telephone or also by pressing the buttons present on the thermostat.

The thermostat is priced at $325.
