Why do people prefer flight to train? The reasons are many. One major reason is timing. Generally, flights take very less time to cover greater distance. Gone are the days. Now the trains are increasing their speed to compete with flights. One such wonderful train, which will have an edge in this train-flight competition, is under construction in China. The speed of the train is 380 kph, making it the fastest bullet train in the world. The train will take an estimated five hours to reach Shanghai from Beijing, a run of 1,318 kilometers. Hebei-based locomotives manufacturer, Tangshan Railway Vehicles Co Ltd is developing the wonderful train, which will be on track by 2012.
