The FLEPia e-book from Fujitsu is literally fresh in our forgetful memory. But the first ever color e-book could have a competitor from a garage making difference in the e-paper space. Bridgestone, whom till only a day before we knew as highly efficient tires maker today has the innovative world flipped on its head, with the development of a color e-paper device. The 13-inch color e-paper device accepts pen input, a characteristic that stretches it ingenuity.

Who’d thought a tire manufacturer to create a technological revelation, that to with a device, which could set standards for e-displays of the future? Taking nothing from Bridgestone, the mesmerizing refresh rate of 0.8 seconds of the matrix panel display definitely commands a mention. For the earlier fallers’ tough, there’s time still, for the e-paper lacks contrast and has no mentioning of the battery life as of now.
