Broadcom’s Bluetooth headset tech charges quick, cuts wind noise
Bharat | Oct 27 2009

The Bluetooth headsets are in for a new revelation with the Broadcom’s BCM2074x family of devices, the only headset solution devised on the 65 nanometer process technology. These are designed to consume 50% less power, which translates to twice as much talk time, in contrary to the headsets currently used. Besides consuming lesser power and owing to its small design, the devices are integrated with fast charge technology, which will give headsets the ability to charge in real quick time – less than 5 minutes of charge should be good for most of the day (depending on the headset capacity of course).

The other reveal is Broadcom’s SmartAudio tech which makes the headset cut wind noise to the lowest, enhancing the audio quality and user experience thoroughly. This headset technology featuring the BCM2074 family of products will be made available soon, and will be seen in headsets from five leading manufacturers. Hit the jump for the video.
