Braille Phone gives the blind a new way to communicate
Bharat | Aug 17 2009

We’ve always treated gadgets for the special people really special here. And phones for the visually impaired are ones to be reckoned with for the simplicity and the easy-to-use features they are made with. After the B-Touch, now it is the new Braille Phone concept designed by Seonkeun Park. The Braille Phone, by using Electric Active Plastic, fabricates Braille code on the screen of the phone, which makes it easy for the visually impaired to use. Shaped like a traditional television remote, the Braille phone collects the Braille information on the screen, where the user can touch it to access it. Because the keypad too is written out in Braille, the phone is bound to make text messaging easy and fun for the blind.
