We hear that naughty prisoners stuff phones and weapons up their crack and smuggle it through stiff security checks into the prisons. Now there, prisoners have surely been a pain in the ass for the cops, but no more. 102 Prisons across Britain will house chairs equipped with ultra-sensitive sensors to non-intrusively detect unwanted stuff that prisoners manage to transport into lockups, hiding it in their unseen. Called the Body Orifice Security Scanner, or BOSS, the £6,500 butt scanning chair has three sensitive scanners that beep when in contact with metal.
