Dear bloggers and journalists, here is a robot from researchers at the Intelligent Systems Informatics Lab in Tokyo that’ll definitely strike a chord with you. This one, unlike the other built for household chores, is a journalist by professions good enough to replace us at what we do, so gear up fellas. The robot has journalistic intent, which lets it autonomously explore its surroundings. Any notable change in the setting is captured by the robot’s camera on board, which is then uploaded on to the web with a short article if required. The other notable facet of the robot is its extrovert nature that doesn’t stop it from questioning people nearby for information. Though it’s to be laughed out for now, but give it time and fellows some day it may be actually good to replace us and the silly software we have in place for automated story telling. Then the world wouldn’t need us but would fetch journalist robots that’ll do our tasks at no cost.
