Atlantic City Convention Hall Organ: Most powerful, loudest, and versatile
Madan | Nov 19 2007

What I came across is a musical organ, built from 1929 till 1932, standing in almost 500 feet area at one of the corner Atlantic City Convention hall. Distinction that puts it at the top among largest in world, owes everything from over 33,000 pipes with more than 1,200 stops in comparison to common organs with 2,000 pipes and 30-40 stops.

Not only in terms of size, but it also shows distinction of being most powerful, loudest, and most versatile among its class. Controlled from 7 manual consoles, this classic piece of its kind have largest pipe measuring 64 ft, which produces a tone of 8Hz. A real wonder by Senator Emerson L. Richards took around $500,000 depression era for its grand construction.
