Asus seems to be counting on CeBIT to make a mark, a reason they’re using the platform to showcase novelties carried from the year’s-kicker CES. Introduced first is the Asus-Lamborghini VX5 laptop, the only laptop in the world with a 1TB solid state drive. It is a 16-inch LCD running on an Intel core 2 quad processor, bragging 4GB RAM and a Nvidia GeForce GT 130M GPU. Branded by Lamborghini, the VX5 stands out with its 1TB SSD.
In spite of the high capacity laptop leading the way, the real eye-catcher was the laptop with two displays from Asus. Replacing the conventional screen and keyboard, the interesting concept is a dual-panel laptop which is still in pipeline and requires a lot of work to be done. The laptop has been designed using ideas contributed by the user at WePC.com, making this a crowd-sourced idea brought to life. Whatever be the purpose or intention, it is clear that these laptops will give users a feel of the high-end technological advancement making inroads.
