Asus and Disney lure kids with the custom designed Netpal
Bharat | Jun 17 2009

Computing is serious stuff. But in this quickly transforming generation, even kids need their share of computing facilities to have fun. To fill the void, we have Asus and children’s all time favorite, Disney, announce a netbook, termed the Netpal for kids. Selling at Toys R Us and Amazon for $349, in Princess Pink and Magic Blue colors, the Netpal features a Disney interface and Mickey Mouse, Wall-E and other Disney-based themes. Do kids really need a 8.9-inch LED-backlit WSVGA screen with Wi-Fi and a standard 160GB hard drive, perhaps we’ll take time to ponder over that, but over 40 robust parental control options could do the trick for the kids.
