Aquavision S4 HD: World’s first full-HD waterproof TV
Bharat | Dec 8 2008

Aquavision has been the undisputed king of water-resistant televisions. Banking upon its legacy, it proposes to launch the world’s first full-HD waterproof TV at ISE in Amsterdam in 2009. Missing those favorite series just because you’re in the bath maybe mundane today, because of the wide variety of waterproof TVs out there already, but the hi-def is a novel introduction to your bathing and swimming glee. So, if you like bathing with the LCDs, Aquavision’s new S4 HD, a 40-inch wall/waterproof television, is the perfect thing for you.

For compatibility with control systems like the Systemline, AMX, iLight and Crestron the S4 HD uses RS232 control port. Aquavision’s new baby is a full high definition TV with 1920 x 1080 resolutions. The LCD panel is available in the Mirrorvision finish, whereby the screen seems like a mirror when switched off.

Controlled from a compatible touch panel, the Aquavision S4 HD is accompanied with two remote controls, hard-wired control panel to fix to the wall, an integrated Freeview digital tuner, twin HDMI inputs and analog PC input with other video and audio connections.

There isn’t a word on the pricing yet, therefore you may have to wait as long as the ISE from February 3-5 next year. However, you could visit the site, if you wish to know more on the Aquavision S4 HD 40-inch HDTV.
