APSI C100 GPS with removable touchscreen PMP
Bharat | Sep 9 2009

It’s never really exciting to own a GPS device that does nothing more than help navigate. Well I don’t mean that it’s no big deal, but then that’s just an additional gadget you see. APSI C100 breaks the jinks, and comes out of the image being a portable media player in a GPS navigation system. Cool ain’t it? So, if you’re in Korea you have all the more reasons to get this home.

Featuring DMB TV antenna port, an optional external GPS mouse port, and AV input and output on the system’s rear casing that mounts onto the vehicle’s windshield, the APSI C100 is just different for the fact the front of the device becomes an interface to control all other embedded features in the vehicle. The GPS navigation system software, the Gini 3D, is the coolest thing still – it has the entire South Korea mapped in all its physicality and polity.

The system’s touchscreen interface allows for volume controls and other menu options, while the removable PMP makes provision for 3D mapping and audio and video playback. Now, you may be lured in for this sleek and innovative GPS PMP, but it’s not coming overseas anytime soon, at least we don’t hear that. Gear up for a Korean trip if you want one, but for price, keep lingering.
