AMEX Digital rolls out world's first Blu-ray Media Centre

AMEX Digital is set to redefine home entertainment with the launch of the world’s first Blu-ray Media Centre. The AMEX MPC-505 Media Center is powered by Intel Viiv Core Duo and is packed with Windows Media Centre 2005, allowing users to record television shows from digital and analogue tuners, playing music and displaying photos. The whopping data is taken care at its large 1TB (1,000GB) hard drive that delivers around 120 hours of HD program recording.



The media center not only playback Blu-ray discs but can also record content on to 25GB blank Blu-ray disks. No word on pricing and release date yet.
