We are slacks when it comes to featuring TVs here, but when something really amazing is unveiled, we have to find space. You guys will really relish this one – the Allio HDTV – a TV with built-in PC and a Blu-ray player. This Allio rolled-out media center given the accoutrements it houses, is nothing less than a dream come true for geek-o-maniacs like us.
What’s innovative:
When work keeps you glued to your systems and you’re forced to miss all the football action, there is very little you can do, really. But with the introduction of a 42-inch 1080p TV, with a fully stuffed PC within, you could have a way out. The PC includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM, and a 1TB hard drive with Windows Vista Home Premium. The TV also allows for multi-tasking with split screen/picture-in-picture options and wireless networking. Slim line Blu-ray player is a perfect icing to the cake for the TV.
