Adapting the classic puzzle into a font generator
Atul | May 22 2009

One can never get bored with a Rubik’s Cube in hand, but if you do find it grating, you should then give it a shot as a font generator. I am not saying that this was what prompted the designer Jas Bhachu to adapt the classic puzzle into a printing stamp, but wherever the impetus came from, the design is sure impressive. The Liverpool School of Art & Design student created it as a part of his project where the students were challenged to depict a visual representation of the word “move.” Jas used rubber stamps on four sides, giving the user the freedom of twisting it to create a variety of characters differing in pixel font.
