A 'Doctor Who' fan builds himself a full-size Dalek replica

A major component of a sci-fi home owner’s abode could be a Dalek from the new series of ‘Doctor Who.’ As a matter of fact, it is. A die-hard ‘Doctor Who’ fan named Rob Bosher has built a full-size Dalek replica all by himself, for himself.

Forty-seven-year-old Rob’s no licensed maker for the Dalek replicas. He’s only a DIY-er, who’s turned so for his unquenched lust to build a Dalek at home. After a cost of around £700, what Rob has got in his version of the Dalek made from wood and scrap is just brilliant. It is an electric wheelchair based, joystick controlled beast that’s fitted with a voice modulator to create the trademark croaky Dalek voice.

The robot’s got eyes that move made from magic eight ball, and has working lights, to show them way in case Rob and his friend are out late after dark. With his illustrious creation, Rob intends make a difference for which he would be taking the Dalek to charity events. Great work, Rob.
