3D Camera built for research ends up in the Guinness book

Japan’s Nagoya Institute of Technology makes it to the Guinness book of world records. Care to know why? The record is courtesy the efforts of associate professor Ishino Youzirou and his team, who have made a 3D camera with 158 lenses. All those lenses have been arranged in an aluminum arc and when used, will glean out images in three dimensional form. And no, the academicians didn’t do all this to earn a place in the Guinness book of world records. They developed the monster of a camera to snap 3D pictures of irregular flames. Building something for their research and then finding their name into the Guinness book of world records, lucky bunch of people, we say.
